Week 7 Wet Media
I feel my sketches using wet media were quite successful and look much more interesting then my previous works. I like the boldness of these pieces and the colour schemes. The contrast of the white highlights really stand out against the blocked colours. I think I could work on the surrounding space more to create a background. Using three colours helped to show light, mid and dark tones.

Week 6 Wet Media
I preferred working with colour as I found it easier to identify different tones, two colours were used to represent the highlights and shadows on the body. I feel my first experiment with wet media was quite successful, but I think I could of been bolder by adding darker tones to the body. I would also experiment further using more than one colour as I think this would help when identifying areas of light and dark.
Week 6 Pencil & Charcoal Quick Drawings

Week 5
It was initially challenging removing areas of the charcoal rather then applying it to the paper.I enjoyed using this technique as it helped define the light and dark areas of the body. The charcoal allowed me to work with a range of different tones, using the rubber to reveal the white of the paper worked well when showing the highlights on the body.

Foreshortening 3x 45 Minute Drawings
These were my most challenging set of drawings as the angle at which the model was positioned made the scale of each body part more difficult to draw. It was hard trying to show where the body appears larger and where the body becomes more distant becoming smaller. Measuring the body became harder as certain parts are not completely visible and appear smaller by the way the model is sat,
Foreshortening 2x 45 Minute Drawings
Here I focused on mapping out the body first, working on scale and marking where the joints were located. From here I looked at the angle and positioning of each body part roughly connecting each piece. As I had a front view of the model these drawings were less challenging than my later ones.

Pencil Drawing 30 Minutes
This was my final drawing of the day and I feel it is my strongest. I am pleased with the scale and composition, the legs have improved, but could be worked into more.
